11:30am - 11:50am Extending Primary Research into Multichannel Real World Evidence
Tuesday Mar 27
One of the interesting opportunities now available due to the increasing ability to access real-world healthcare utilization data is to contextualize data collected from survey respondents with a longitudinal view of their overall healthcare condition and utilization. Identity resolution techniques combined with privacy-preserving methodologies now allow for the secure integration of individual survey respondent data with other data sources about that individual including diagnoses, drugs, labs, and outcomes from medical claims, pharmacy, electronic medical records, and clinical lab data sources. Using recent work with Kantar Health as an example, we will discuss the benefits and limitations of the approach, as well as important privacy considerations.
